Ok, this shoot did not feel like "work." I have such a tough job, you know, being outside, enjoying the sunshine, hanging out with Brad and Lauren on their boat. Rough life! I cannot wait until their wedding in September. They're planning quite an extravagant event downtown, and I know it's going to be one of the main events of the season!! I am so happy with the way their shots turned out...
Wowza! Isn't Lauren so hot!!!???
I really had a tough time determining which shot was my fave, but this one ranks among the top three:)
They gots' styyyyyle!

This doesn't look like Indiana does it!!

We found these little brown cabanas. The light was ahhh-mazing in here!
Love it!

We had great wind the entire day. At most modeling shoots they have to fake this kind of wind:)

Isn't Lauren the cutest??!!

Don't you love the wind too? Brad, I'd be ordering a huge print of this shot! Ooohlala.

Brad & Lauren, I hope you are as happy with the photos as I am! Can't wait til the big day. Enjoy your show!

meg | 9.months!
Meg and I go way back! Like I said last night, she's no stranger around here. I'm actually kinda sad to think that I only have one more shoot with Meg. Josh and April need to have another one so I can keep seeing them every three months (wink wink)!! Of all the shoots I've had with her, she definitely grew the most between 6 months and 9 months. She seemed really tall and so grown up this time. She grunts a lot, and the amazing part about it is that Josh and April know what she wants when she's speaking grunt. Parents have an interesting way of understanding baby code. In typical Meg fashion, she came all dolled up in her striped tulip pants. Check her out...
One of my favorite family photos of all time:)
I love Meg's big eyes! You'll see below that I focus a LOT on Meg's eyes because they're so pretty!
Big girl pose. She's actually standing up here!
Now this one's just plain sassy. She's so glam...

Love it:)
And so I hear that one of Meg's favorite things to do is swing. I guess you can tell with that big smile on her face:)

Love the colors in this shot!

She's just so sweet...
Josh & April, thanks so much! I'm looking forward to the 1 year shoot in August! Enjoy your slideshow!

.tease.
I just have to share one shot with you from Meg's shoot before I get everything completely finished. She's no stranger around this blog. Lets see...this is her fourth appearance here (well, her fifth if you count the pregnancy shoot where she was just a little bun in the oven). More to come tomorrow for Miss Meg!!:)
As I mentioned yesterday, I had two fun shoots at Geist Reservoir. You already got a peek at Lauren & Brad's engagement photos, but here's a glimpse at Charlie's shoot. The Engelberg's drive all the way from Chicago, so it was fun to see them for a second time AND to see how tall Charlie has gotten since I last saw him in the Fall. More to come this week from Charlie's shoot!!

rob.kristen+ruby!
I love that Kristen planned a session for her, her husband Rob and their dog, Ruby! Ruby is so loved and is clearly the only child, because she gets 100% of the attention at all times:) I cannot explain to you how well-behaved she was during our shoot. She posed for the camera, she smiled with her tongue out, and she gave us her pouty face--perfecto! Ruby has the most beautiful red coat I have ever seen!!
So sweet...
Are you kidding me??!! We went up to this cute little porch, and Ruby chose to pose this way on her own. We didn't put her paws on the post or anything...I think she's part-human!
My favorite family picture:)
Goofy!

Here's the pouty face I was referencing:)...

I asked to see all of Ruby's tricks!

I LOVE this one! I kept telling Rob to tell a funny joke so I could get some laughs out of them. I can't remember what was said, but it must have been hi-LAR-ious!

And this one cracks me up. Ruby is such a big girl that you can't even see Kristen in the first shot. We told her to get on mommy's lap, but didn't intend for her to completely block Kristen out of the shot:)!!!

Ruby needed a little breather...
And this is all my fault! I asked Rob and Kristen to do a little dance. I love their natural smiles though. How cute are they??!!

Rob & Kristen, thanks so much! It was fun working with you two and Ruby! Enjoy your slideshow!
