miss.olivia!

Well, this a VERY special client because the Mills family was my first client ever! I will never forget how I was totally caught off-guard when this woman named Erin called me because she had seen some pictures that I had taken of my little cousins. I was like, "Well, I am not really a photographer. You know that right?" She didn't care. She just knew she loved the pictures she saw of my cousins and wanted me to come to their house to take pictures of their baby girl, Olivia. That was just shy of one year ago, and boy has a lot happened since then!!!

I've taken Olivia's pictures 3 times now, and I really enjoy seeing how big she's gotten each time I see her. We had a warm one on Sunday morning. I'm talkin', we were at the IMA at 9:30am, and we were all drenched by the end because it was so hot outside. I thought this was supposed to be Fall! Erin emailed me on Monday to say "thanks" and to let me know that they found out on Monday morning that Olivia actually had a sinus infection which turned into an upper respiratory infection. Poor Olivia! We spent an hour in the heat taking pictures and we didn't even know she was sick! Anyways, I think she was a rockstar for the camera--especially considering the conditions. If she ever looked at me with those big blue eyes, I could never tell her "no"!!! What a cutie:)



I LOVE this shot and the setting. This does not look like Indiana. It looks like we're somewhere in the northwest!




At the end, they all changed into their Colts gear! I LOVE that:) The other family I shot for on Sunday ALSO got photos in their Colts gear (you'll see their shots later this week). I like this trend!!
