fun.stuff!

Yesterday was a fun-filled day. Two morning shoots (which I will be sharing with you soon), then my brother Kyle's graduation, then Eddie Izzard at the Murat.

First, lets start with Eddie Izzard. I assume most of you are saying to yourself, "who the heck is this Eddie Izzard guy?" If this is you, then we must change this! Eddie Izzard is HI-LAR-I-OUS! He is a comedian/actor from England and he has quickly become one of my favorite celebrities. His fame is rapidly growing because of my favorite tv show, "The Riches," which he stars in. Simon and I were SO SAD when the Sopranos left the air, but luckily The Riches came about to fill that void. Izzard was first known for his stand-up acts, which is how Simon was aware of him. Quite a few years ago Simon saw his act in Chicago. I really didn't know much about him until The Riches started and I thought he was a fabulous actor. The show just ended its second season, so please catch-up on the first two season so that when season three rolls around, I can blog all of the time about the show and you guys will know what the heck I'm talking about. The Riches is a drama, and Eddie plays a very serious roll. So, it wasn't until last night that I saw the other side of him. It took me a minute to realize this was the same person I love to watch on Tuesday nights on the television because his character on The Riches and his character on stage are SO SO different. He performed last night for just over 2 hours, and the entire time he had the whole audience completely captivated. That is a LONG time to stand on stage and keep whatever it is you're saying interesting! We had a great time, and I cannot wait to see him perform again.

Before the show, we got to see Kyle graduate, so congratulations go out to the Turtle-Man for graduating from Anderson University with a degree in education! (As you can see from these photos he was extremely thrilled about commencement. ha!)

(Kyle's the one in the middle of the shot following the girl on the right). See, you can tell from his expression that he is over-joyed to be at commencement!!:)

And then last but not least, due to the popularity of the last Claire/Lyza video that I posted last month, I have created a new video. Claire stayed all night last Saturday, and I shot just a couple of videos. The quality is not great because it was dark...but I still think you'll enjoy this:)

(If for some reason the video doesn't load, you can click here).
