miss.meg | 1.year!

I can't believe little Meg is already 1 year old! I've already had a couple of my baby clients celebrate their first birthday, but Meg is the first baby client that I've worked with from newborn through 12 months. In fact, April is the one that told me I needed to put a newborn package together, so she is the one to thank for that! Even though Meg should kinda know me by now, she doesn't get overly excited about our shoots and the fact that there's a camera in her face for 45 minutes to an hour each time. Josh and April always end up leaving the shoots thinking that Meg didn't smile much, but I am hoping that they're always pleasantly surprised at the results! I am hoping that is the case with the results below. I happen to love Meg's reactions and expressions in the photos! In some you see laughter, in some you see her sassy side, in some you see a pouty face, in some you see a soft, sweet smile. I love seeing that range because it's real--we all know too well that 12 month olds are not smiley 100% of the time:)

We chose the IMA this time around. Meg liked the outdoors, but none of us liked the humidity that we were experiencing. All in all, I am so grateful to have met the Miles family and can only hope that baby #2 comes sooner than later:)!

I love Meg's huge smile with the finger in the mouth!

You can't tell in this photo too well, but she's riding in her new convertible...her green wagon from Grandma! She LOVES this thing..

Lots of crawling this shoot...and she liked to crawl AWAY from my camera:)

Trying to pull the wagon on her own:)

Here's that sassy yet innocent look I described above...

Here's her devilish grin:)...

Here's my favorite Miles' family photo, even though it's not your traditional pose-and-smile type of family portrait!...

her soft, innocent smile...

"party in my ride"...

so sweet...

She found a couple of sticks and started to play drums with them!

Josh and April, thank you so much for trusting me to capture Meg's first year! It has been great getting to know you. Enjoy your slideshow!
