jen + drew + baby

I have been having some computer issues, so I’m having to do things a little differently while the Geniuses at the Apple Store work their magic. I was so frustrated with that because I knew I had these fun photos of Jen and Drew to get to work on! Guys, thanks for being patient with me. I hope you love your pics! What more can I say...they are just so cute. Little Paige is on the way (we expect her very soon!), and Jen was not shy at all to bare her belly, and I think that is awesome! Jen looks so good, you can hardly tell she’s 8 months pregnant. I had the honor of getting to know Jen really well when my sis was in labor. I was at the hospital all day when Jess was in labor, and Jen was Jess’ nurse. You see, Jen and Jess both work together in the labor and delivery wing of Community North Hospital. One thing I will never forget about Jen is SHE is the one that yelled “IT’S A GIRL” when our little Claire was born. We were all waiting in the hallway and expecting a little boy to pop out!

I had so much fun shooting Jen and Drew. They were very laid back the entire time. I did not realize it when I was taking their pictures, but I was CRACKING UP laughing when I got home to import the photos, and I noticed that their baby, Mia (the dog), found her way in the corner of most of my shots. I just think that’s hilarious--it was like her way of saying, “I’m the baby, pay attention to ME!” Mia was a good girl, but she will have some adjustments to make in the coming months. (Keep an eye out for her in the shots. You’ll know what I mean!!:) Jen and Drew, good luck, and we can’t wait to see Paige’s pictures up here soon! Enjoy your slideshow.

the hinkle's

There couldn’t possibly be two nicer people than Tony and Leigh. Not to mention their little cutie patootie, Emily! I have not known Leigh very long, but she is one of the nicest most genuine people that I’ve ever met. She used to work with my friend, Tara, at Team in Training, so that is how I met Leigh. We spent Saturday morning at Butler University in the Holcomb Gardens. What a wonderful place to take pictures (there were a ton of photogs also shooting at the gardens Saturday morning). Emily is full of energy, and she is just starting to crawl. Well, I guess we’ll call it “crawling,” but it’s more of a half crawl with one foot out to the side pushing her forward...it was so CUTE! When we would try to get individual shots of her on the ground, she would immediately be on the move. That was fine though, because it made for some adorable pictures. Her big blue eyes will just make your heart melt! Tony, Leigh and Emily, I had a fabulous time working with you. I hope you enjoy your slideshow!

(Leigh, good luck on your 100 mile bike-ride around Lake Tahoe next week! You and the fam enjoy your time in sunny California)!

the pendleton outlaws

On Saturday, I got the opportunity to take pictures of the Pendleton Outlaws baseball team. They are a fun bunch of teenage boys! We started off with some individual shots. Most of them were shy when the spotlight was on them, but you’ll see that they quickly warmed up to the camera once we got to the team shots. They’re so GOOFY! After photos, it was time for the Outlaws to get down and dirty. The mean green machine took the field, and I had a blast playing paparazzi in the dugout and around the field! I hope you enjoy your pictures. GO OUTLAWS! Click here to view the slideshow. (I was not able to post ALL of the photos, so make sure you click on the shopping cart icon below the slideshow to see them all!)

ainsley & lindsey

On Sunday afternoon, I got to hang out with Ainsley & Lindsey at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. What a BEAUTIFUL place to shoot two BEAUTIFUL little girls. We played tea party in the lawn, climbed on the GIANT colorful numbers, blew bubbles, ate popsicles and sprayed each other with the water bottle. One might wonder how all of this could possibly be done in just a couple of short hours. Well, Ainsley & Lindsey are little busy-bodies!! So cute, so playful, and so girlie! I had a blast working with Annie, Wes and the girls. I tried to limit the number of photos for the slideshow, but they are just so cute that I found it to be a difficult task. So sit back and relax for this one, folks! It was an honor working with you guys. I hope you love your photos!!!
