dave | doris | wendy | chad | alexis | gavin | dawn | ted

Sunday was the perfect evening. We had gorgeous weather, and I had a wonderful family to work with. I had never met Doris before, but she called a couple of months ago after she saw her nephew's photos (I know you remember the Walker's), and wanted to schedule a session for her daughter and son-in-law's 4th wedding anniversary. That original idea turned into the WHOLE family, and I am SO glad that it did!! I will introduce you to everyone below.

Meet the Stiles family! Here we go, from left to right. Dave (dad), Wendy (daughter celebrating 4th anniversary), Wendy's husband Chad, Wendy and Chad's kids Alexis and Gavin, Doris (mom), Dawn (daughter), Ted (Dawn's boyfriend).

Love this shot because it VERY MUCH represents this family. Little Gavin's the life of the party, and Wendy and Chad are great parents full of energy as well!

Love this shot. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunset. Check out the SUN!!!

Check out Gavin's blue eyes. What a little hottie!

The Utzig fam is such a cool bunch...

Love this little guy. Check out his hair!

Alright...I have to explain this one. Gavin absolutely LOVES the song, "The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town." This pic just CRACKS ME UP because he's singing it to grandma, grandpa, Aunt Dawn and Uncle Ted, and they're all doing the motions back to him. He's a little choir director!!!

I ABSOLUTELY love the candidness of this shot. They're so happy:)

This shot is priceless. Especially since his mommy and daddy are both firefighters!!

I had to trick Ted into smiling for the camera. Really, he's probably just laughing at how dorky I am, but it WORKED!

...and we won't tell anyone what we did here to get big smiles! (wink wink)!!!

This was an accident of a shot, but I love the way it turned out! In fact, I think it's my FAVORITE!

Doris, thank you so much for scheduling this. I feel like I know all of you so well already and we spent only an hour together! The kids are wonderful and so so cute! Hopefully you have a few to replace those 1985 family pics that I hear you have still hanging in your house! ha! I had a great time, guys. Hope you love everything! Enjoy your slideshow.

Jamie,
I can't tell you how much I love the pictures of my family, they brought tears to my eyes. You were great to work with and did a wonderful job. Hope to be able to get more in a couple of years. We will need to replace these a little sooner than we did the last family photos.(haha)Thank you again for a wonderful time and amazing pictures.

Thanks, Dawn and Doris! I am so happy that you like them. I'm curious to hear if Gavin watched himself on the computer. I bet he thought that was pretty cool!
