chris + charyl | married

09.22.07 | Chris and Charyl had a beautiful wedding! Chris is the brother of Maddy's dad, Tim, so that is how I got the opportunity to shoot their wedding! Charyl was so calm the entire morning, and Chris was havin' fun with his guys. It was like the entire day was way too easy. Everything fell into place just perfectly! After the wedding, the bridal party and I headed to the Henry County Arts Center. The day I first met with Chris and Charyl, I drove to check out the church, and I happened to pass this beautiful place along the way. I am SOOO excited that Charyl was up for taking pics at the Art Center after the ceremony when I suggested it to her. As you will see below, the colors outside of the Arts Center are just stunning. The deep reds, yellows and greens are the type of things I look for in a prime photo location, and this place was overflowing with color! Check it out for yourself...

This was so funny. Across from the church was this little convenience store called "Coney Island." Not the most beautiful building to look at, but there was something ironic about the fact that I had a group of guys in suits, and Coney Island was not the sort of place you'd expect a group of guys in suits to be getting their pictures taken in front of. When I told the guys we were heading over to Coney Island, they just sort of looked at me and were probably thinking, "Is this girl CRAZY?" I'm all about that classy look in an unexpected place. That's what you will see here. I LOVE this shot!
